I love you, Harry Winston
A close friend of mine recently returned from his weeks long honeymoon to Europe, high as a kite and on cloud nine, enthused about his recent marriage. Of course, I was overjoyed for his union and thrilled for his happiness, and at the same time it got me thinking. Most of my friends are either in committed relationships, engaged, married and/or have kids. And as one of Beyonce’s single ladies, I starting pondering my solo life and thinking about when I’ll finally get a ring (on it). The solo life pondering part was brief because I suddenly got the urge to look at some fabulous diamond rings, and when it comes to diamond rings what bigger name is there than Harry Winston? I’ll tell you: No one. So on a whim I decided to visit the site and surf around to see what I could see. Everything is so breathtakingly beautiful – the Incredibles are…well, incredible. What I really loved, however, was the classic Harry Winston emerald-cut diamond ring. This 21 carat dazzler is set in platinum with two diamond shields on the side for a total of just over 22 carats. How much does this little (not really) gem cost? So much that the price isn’t listed on the site (gulp). Is it bad to set the bar so high? A girl can dream, right? And what sweet dreams they are.
