My Holiday Wish List

I like to think I’m at the point in my life where I have just about everything I need. I have a job, I have a place to live, I have a car, I have a loyal canine companion. Then there are the immaterial things like health, happiness and friendship, and I believe I have those too. So when it comes to gift-giving for the holidays, for me, there’s nothing that I really need; it’s a matter of what I want. And at the top of my very short holiday wish list is this:

I’m crazy for baking. I like the magic of putting liquid goo into the oven and pulling out delicious and aromatic heavenly goodness. Plus I find that people tend to ooh and aah over desserts. It’s just a mood-lifting food. Now that I have my giant dessert tome, I need/want the perfect appliance to assist me in the creation of these baked goodies. I’ve always wanted a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer but always had to put the money towards something else. This mixer is the king of all mixers. Not only does it mix batters and beat dough, but you can also buy special attachments and turn it into a meat grinder, pasta maker, veggie shredder and other things too. It’s a heavy duty, pretty looking appliance, and it comes in so many different colors which is always a bonus. So now may be just the right time to finally get one for myself. Joy!
