Surprise! I found something else I like

First, I’d like to state that I am still on my shopping diet! I’ve only made one purchase in the last month and it was sort of kind of work related so I feel as though I get half a pass.  OK fine I don’t, but at least it was on sale. Moving on.

I was making my regular rounds online and came across this bad. Now I know I said I normally make one bag purchase a year, but perhaps I’m having an off year. Maybe a shopping leap year of sorts? Alright alright I’m just making excuses. Since I’m no longer in denial of my love of shopping let’s focus on how lovely this Halston Heritage bag is, shall we?

I admit I didn’t know HH made bags. I really thought they only made dresses, but really most labels eventually add bags and accessories to their lines so I shouldn’t be surprised. I love their dresses so it’s no surprise that I’m digging this bag as well. This leather satchel is embossed with a stingray (stingray?!) print and has a subtle shimmer to it as well. I love big, roomy bags and this looks like just the right size for me. The gold buckle and studs add just the right amount of extra shine, plus there are studs on the bottom of the bag as well. The color is called Jet but it almost looks more like a charcoal gray mixed with brown. Either way I like that it’s dark enough to go with everything but not your basic black.

Definitely a possible birthday gift to self.
